Optimal Food Processing
In the "Optimal Food Process", the food is packed under a strong vacuum that permits pasteurization at much lower temperatures than normal. Therefore we apply much less heat and for a shorter period of time than other pasteurization methods, thus retaining more of the original flavor and texture of the ingredients. Once the vacuum seal is broken, which is easily done by removing our peel away foil, our Gourmet to Go varieties should be refrigerated and consumed like other fresh food.
